A thermographer with Level 1 certification possesses the knowledge and skills to independently perform thermographic inspections in accordance with established standards and guidelines. This also includes correctly interpreting thermographic images and preparing clear, reliable reports.
Clients attach increasing value to quality and certainty. Therefore, it is increasingly required that inspections be carried out exclusively by a Level 1 certified thermographer. This offers various advantages:
Reliability : Certified thermographers accurately recognize anomalies and can identify risks in a timely manner.
Quality of reporting : Reports are clear, professional, and meet the requirements for technical or legal documentation.
Standardization and consistency : Inspections are carried out according to international standards (such as ISO 18436-7 or ASNT), which is important for audits or insurance matters.
Increased credibility : An inspection performed by a certified professional is recognized more quickly by external parties such as regulators, clients, and insurers.
Thermography is not just about creating beautiful thermal images. It is about being able to measure, analyze, and report with certainty. The ITC Level 1 training gives you that certainty. You will learn exactly why you choose a specific setting, what you see on the screen, and how to professionally explain your findings. This allows you to conduct inspections with confidence and stand stronger in conversations with clients, among others.
Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive the internationally recognized Level 1 certificate. This certificate confirms your qualification to independently perform thermographic inspections and prepare reports according to professional standards.
The training takes place in Drunen, North Brabant, under the guidance of a Level II or Level III certified instructor with many years of experience in thermographic inspections and experience in teaching thermography.
We recommend bringing your own thermal imaging camera to the training. This allows you to gain immediate experience with your own equipment and learn how to use it optimally.
