The FLIR E54 is your entry into the Exx-Series, offering the resolution and sensitivity you need for basic condition monitoring, electrical/mechanical inspection, and building inspection. The 320 × 240 pixel thermal detector accurately measures temperatures up to 650°C (1202°F) and produces crisp, vibrant imagery that can be enhanced with patented FLIR MSX® technology for added detail and perspective. Onboard FLIR Inspection Route feature runs pre-planned survey routes to help inspectors stay organized when surveying large or multiple locations. For a limited time, the purchase of an E54 camera includes a 3-month subscription to FLIR Thermal Studio Pro and FLIR Route Creator.

Mijn ervaring met de FLIR E54 is erg positief, ik heb de camera gebruikt voor het detecteren van kleine temperatuur (±2°C) verschillen in diverse producten. De Camera werkt boven verwachting. De gevoeligheid is zo hoog dat als je een product iets te lang vast pakt je de positie van je vinger kan detecteren. De 'lage' resolutie van het hittebeeld is op papier lijkt overigens veel erger dan dit in werkelijkheid is. Een ander voordeel van de camera/software is dat je de beelden achteraf nog kan aanpassen wat temperatuur range en kleuren pallet betreft. Op die manier zijn de afbeeldingen zo te maken dat het contrast zo hoog mogelijk is en het beeld dus maximaal duidelijk.

Na jaren gewerkt te hebben met een ander merk thermografische camera zijn we in 2016 overgestapt op een FLIR E5. Qua specs iets minder dan de oude camera, maar voldoende 'volledig' om een goed gevoel te krijgen. Omdat het inspectiewerk en het aantal medewerkers toeneemt was de keus voor een FLIR dan ook snel gemaakt. Dankzij de hulp en advies van SensorBV kwamen we snel tot de conclusie dat de E54 de beste keus was. Wel iets boven ons budget destijds, maar als we nu kijken welke voordelen (qua gebruik en tijd) dit oplevert zijn we zeer tevreden.
