The HIKMICRO MiniK is suitable for compatible Android and iOS devices and supports both USB-C and Lightning. This allows you to connect the thermal imaging camera directly to your smartphone.
For iPhones with a Lightning connector, such as the iPhone 14 and older models, a USB-C to Lightning adapter is included. This allows you to use the MiniK with these devices as well, provided they are compatible.
Of HIKMICRO SuperScene Thermal inspection gets an extra smart feature. This technology uses AI-assisted image analysis to help you identify potential anomalies in thermal images.
Depending on the available scene and function, SuperScene can assist in detecting potential water leaks and insulation problems. This makes it easier to assess suspicious areas, even if you have little experience with thermal imaging cameras.
SuperScene is a useful addition to the thermal imaging and temperature measurements of the MiniK. The results are intended to support an initial inspection and do not replace a professional diagnosis.
With dimensions of just 41.56 × 34.03 × 10.79 mm and a weight of approximately 20 grams, the HIKMICRO MiniK is particularly compact. It fits easily in your trouser pocket, jacket pocket, or tool bag.
Thanks to the lightweight design, you can easily take the thermal imaging camera with you wherever you go. This way, you always have a practical solution at hand to monitor temperature differences.
The HIKMICRO MiniK has no built-in battery and is powered directly by the connected smartphone. Therefore, you do not need to charge the camera separately.
This makes the MiniK easy to use and eliminates the need to worry about an extra battery. The camera's power consumption is low, so the strain on your smartphone remains limited.
The HIKMICRO MiniK is an accessible entry into the world of thermal imaging technology and is primarily intended for everyday use in and around the home. Think of small home inspections, temperature checks in the kitchen, garden applications, and various hobby and DIY projects.
Thanks to its compact size, easy connection to your smartphone, and practical functions, you can get acquainted with thermal imaging in an accessible way. Please note, however, that the MiniK is a compact entry-level model with a thermal resolution of 96 × 96 pixels. The camera is suitable for visualizing temperature differences and getting a first impression of potential problems, but is not intended as a replacement for professional inspection equipment for detailed structural/electrical analyses or specialist measurements.
