The DJI Matrice 30T is the result of combining the techniques from the Matrice 300 and the compact foldable design of the Mavic 3. The M30T offers, among other things:

The DJI Matrice 30T is the perfect combination of powerful sensors and techniques and yet a compact and foldable design.
DJI Matrix 30T Camera
The DJI M30T has an extremely powerful set of sensors, which are comparable to the capabilities of the H20T camera. The M30T has a 48 megapixel zoom camera with 16x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. In addition, there is a 12 megapixel Wide camera. We also know the Laser Rangefinder with a range of 1200m from the DJI Zenmuse H20T camera. The 4th sensor in the M30T is a 640x512px thermal imaging camera. Although the sensors are similar to the H20T, it has become enormously smaller (from 828 grams for an H20T to 320 grams for the M30T camera). This has been achieved by DJI moving the ISP (Image Signal Processing) Chip from the gimbal to the inside of the Matrice 30T drone. This allowed the camera to become a lot smaller, but it also required no less than 96 cables through a 6mm hole to get all sensors and images from the gimbal to the ISP. Solving this challenge is one of the reasons the DJI M30T has become so compact.
A Robust Platform
The DJI Matrice 30T can be seen as the little brother of the Matrice 300. It is therefore not surprising that despite its more compact size, the DJI M30T is an extremely powerful and reliable platform. The DJI Matrice 30T has an IP55 Rating, which allows the M30T to withstand the most extreme (weather) conditions. The device can be used in temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees and can handle no less than 15 m/s wind. The top speed is 23 m/s. The M30T is also packed with (redundant) sensors. For example, the DJI Matrice 30T is equipped with an FPV camera that has a special low light mode, so that you also have a good view in the dark to orient yourself. Just like the Matrice 300, the DJI M30T has obstacle detection on all sides, redundant sensors and back-up systems and the DJI Matrice 30T is capable of performing a 3 propeller emergency landing. No less than 4 antennas, in combination with the OccuSync 3 video protocol, ensure that the connection continues to work in all circumstances.
Foldable design
The DJI Matrice 30T has a compact design that is easy to fold. The arms can be folded with a quick release system. When you unfold them, they automatically click into place. To fold them, you just need to press the lock on the arm to unlock and fold it again. In terms of landing gear, the DJI M30T is very similar to a Mavic. Instead of a large landing gear, the camera is on the front rather than under the drone and the M30T lands on small feet on the underside. This also saves an extra step in preparing the M30T, so that it can be made ready for flight in less than 1 minute!
TB30 Batteries
The DJI Matrice 30T uses a new type of battery: the DJI TB30. By using 2 TB30 batteries at the same time, the DJI M30T is not only redundant in terms of battery, but you can also Hot Swap it. This allows you to change the batteries one at a time for a new set, without having to restart the M30T. As a result, you can continue your flight immediately after the battery change. These batteries are also made from a new chemical compound called Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide. This ensures, among other things, that the TB30 batteries last at least 400 cycles. With a set of 2 TB30 batteries, the DJI M30T flies for no less than 41 minutes.
Data Security
The DJI Matrice 30T has taken over many data features from the Matrice 300. For example, the DJI M30T has the option to install updates offline, without having to connect to the internet. The Local Data Mode and the option to provide the SD card with AES encryption are also built into the DJI M30T as standard.
DJI RCPlus
With the release of the DJI Matrice 30T, a new remote has also been released. The DJI RC Plus. This remote is specially made for the most demanding pilots. The DJI RC Plus is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen with a brightness of no less than 1200 Nits. As a result, the screen is always easy to read, even in full sunlight.
